WELCOME to the Greater Cleveland Flower Growers Association new website!  We are are working to make this site helpful to the growers, suppliers and the people we are growing our beautiful plants for - EVERYONE!

Life is good - life with plants is better.
You are invited to contact any of our board members with suggestions or comments on what would make this site better for you.

The Greater Cleveland Flower Growers Association (GCFGA) exists to help local bedding plant, perennial growers, retailers, distributors and manufacturers that are serving the Northern Ohio Floriculture Industry.  Opportunities to network with peers, tour greenhouses and retail centers, earn certification credits and grow professionally are offered quarterly.

Established over ninety years ago, the GCFGA mission is to:

  • Encourage the practice of the most profitable and permanent system of floriculture possible in Northern Ohio
  • Promote the development of more efficient systems of marketing flowers
  • Further the educational, financial, and social welfare of the flower growers in a legitimate and practical manner

GCFGA President Matt Heard invites you to share your enthusiasm for advancing our industry by being an active member; participate in events, programs, seminars and tours.

Visit this website often for updates on membership, activities, horticultural news, and links to organizations offering professional advancement opportunities.

There are vacancies on the GCFGA Board of Directors – grower board members are especially needed; contact Leanne Yonish for more information on how you can make a difference.

The annual meeting is held in March and includes tours, programs, socializing, prizes, dinner and the election of officers. The location varies from east, west and central parts of northern Ohio.
